A hearty hello!
I'm Sushmita, a freelance writer who also designs intuitive user experiences!
My newsletter lands in nearly 4.8K+ inboxes who come for thoughtful, voice-driven essays on relationships, digital behaviour, design and contemporary culture. Why I write what I write? I'm drawn to examining the human mind like it’s a case study by probing the 'why' behind these topics. My writing style lives at the intersection of information, introspection and observation, occasionally flirting with run-on sentences doused in dry humour (thank you, I think I'm quite hilarious myself)
Have a project in mind? Currently taking on freelance projects including essays, editorial and social media copywriting for ideas that need the right words :)

Along with writing essays about the human condition in lowercase, I also think about how we design for it. I stay deeply fascinated by product design, human behaviour, and the strange, ever-evolving choreography between people and technology.
Offline (truly rare), I spend time making digital art, reading my way through a TBR list that keeps growing (currently reading: Mother Mary Comes to Me) and drinking my third cup of coffee by noon (a post script from 3 months later: third cup of non caffeinated beverage* and yes, I miss my coffee a lot) but you will be sure to find me at your local cafe or bookshop :)
